Like anyone else, we enjoy a weekend drink and were sending a lot of bottles to recycling. I then learned that not all sent for recycling was actually easily recyled so decided to look at what could be done with empty beer, wine, and spirit bottles.
We did some research on youtube and found a number of people like to cut BWS (beer, wine, and spirit bottles).
So we purchased a bottle cutter so we could try this out, many failures occured before we started to get it right. Eventually we were able to turn out decent drinking glasses from bottles of beer like Staroprament, Hoegaarden, and other brands.
We also had the small Budweiser bottles we discovered were easily turned into candle holders for t lights. We tested them on date night and discovered they worked really well.
Other projects
As well as bottles we try to repurpose contains, repair electricals, including mobile devices. Although for the present we have had a few problems with this venture (not easy getting the screens off!) But we'll keep trying!
